We are saddened and heartbroken to announce the passing on of Mr. Robert Nyaga Gechiri of Gilbert, Arizona. USA.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Samba Nyaga; loving son of the late Elicksafarison Gichiri and Ruth Njeri Gichiri, beloved son-in-law of the late Dishan Guyo, the late Olive Machocho Guyo, and the late Judy Nacharo.
He was a devoted father of Ruth Njeri Nyagah of Gilbert, AZ, Eric Gichiri Nyaga of New Jersey; Dickson Guyo Nyaga of Phoenix, AZ; and Michael Njoroge Nyaga of Gilbert, AZ.
He was father-in-law of Tony Irimu and Nyomi Nyaga, grandfather of Charlene Malivia Guyo, Leon Dishan Guyo, Kanja Irimu, and Imani Guyo. He was brother of Beatrice Wanjeri, Michael Njoroge, Margaret Nyongesa, the late Nancy Kimani, David Kihara, Miriam Njoki, Peter Wanyoike Gichiri of New Jersey, and Abraham Matheri Gichiri.
He was also stepbrother of Robert Nyaga, Esther, the late Kahia, Pastor David Gichiri of Florida, the late Patrick Matheri, and Simon Ndungu.
He was a cherished uncle to many.
He will be laid to rest at the family home in Kasambara, Nakuru County, Kenya, on June 9, 2026.
