It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Oliver Wekesa Kituyi, who went to be with the Lord on 7th August 2026.
He was the son of the late Richard Mukhisa Kituyi and the late Rose Khasoa Kituyi.
Oliver is survived by his beloved wife Jacqueline Nabutola and children: Rita Nabubwaya, Rachael Tuya, Rose Khasoa, Richard Mukhisa, Rino Nabutola, Righteous Nakitang’a and Swallah Mukhisa.
He was a cherished father-in-law of Richard Aswani and loving grandfather of Reine Wanjiku, Reina Sitawa and Gyan Makari.
He was a loving brother of Dr. Evans Nyongesa, Patrick Barasa, Solomon Wafula, Henry Wanyonyi, the late Mary Werengekha and Harriet Nasike.
Brother-in-law of Wafula Nabutola, Cyril Wanyonyi, Ann Naliaka, Connie Nakhumicha, Caroline Nafula, Terence Sudi, Joyce Mandala, Isabella Irungu, Martha Omukhango, Trinta Muriuki, and George Mutiso, among many others.
Oliver was a cherished cousin to many and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The cortege will leave Delights Funeral Services on Friday, 14th August 2026 at 2:00 p.m. for prayers and a night vigil at the family home in Milimani, near St. Crispins ACK Cathedral, Bungoma town.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 15th August 2026, at Kibichori Primary School from 9:00 a.m., followed by interment at the family farm in Kibichori Village, Chwale.
Family, friends and colleagues continue to meet daily at his Milimani home from 5:00 p.m. for prayers and burial arrangements.
