It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Thomas Mbogo Mwangi (Nawiri Sacco Embu).
He was the beloved son of John Mwangi Mbogo and Catherine Wakabari Mwangi.
He was a loving husband of Janeffer Wanjugu (Kiangungi Secondary School, Embu).
A devoted father of Claire Nadia Nyakio.
He was a cherished son-in-law of Robert Muthui and Rose Njeri.
An adored brother of Esther Muthoni, Mary Wairimu and Christine Wangui.
Brother-in-law of Erick Okello, Ramadhan Bwam, Martin Nderitu, Jackson Muthiga and Mary Nduta.
Uncle of Ann Bahati, Makayla, Baraka, Myra, Bellanie, Augustine, Nikisha, Dylan and Ethan.
He was a nephew, cousin, and grandchild of many.
Daily meetings continue at his rural home in Kuang’ombe Village, Kirinyaga County and Castle Gardens off Thika Road, Nairobi from 5:30 p.m.
The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home on 13th August 2026 for burial in Kiang’ombe, Kirinyaga County.
