It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mary Munyi Iguku on 29th August 2026, after a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel Iguku and the late Naomi Waithira.
She was the fourth-born, sister of the late Simon Kigamba, Mary Ruguru, Secunda Wanjiru, Nellie Nyagikonyo Kane, Eunice Wairimu, and the late Hannah Wanjiku.
She was a loving mother of Naomi Waithira and Isaac Njuguna, Alex and Alice Iguku, and Juliet Ruguru.
She was grandma of Judy W. Njuguna, Lewis Mundia, Alvin B. Iguku, Nathan A. Iguku, Malaika Munyi, Ruby Munyi, and many others.
Prayers and arrangement meetings are taking place at her home in Gatuanabu, Kahuho, Kabete Subcounty, every day from 5:00 p.m.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, 4th September 2026. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Kahuho, Muguga Parish, followed by burial at her home in Gatuanabu village, Kahuho, Kabete Sub-county.
