It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Eng. Lawi Kariuki Mangu, formerly of KERRA Murang’a County, that occurred on Tuesday, 25th August 2026. He hails from Kimatus Estate, Thika.

Son of Onesmus Mangu and Janet Wambere.

Son-in-law of Andrew Wambete and Priscilla Natechio.

Husband of Adelaide Chemutai Kariuki.

Father of Terrence Mangu, Janette Wambere & David Macharia and Vanessa Natechio.

Brother of Charity Njeri, late Doris Muthoni, late Dancun Mwangi, Esther Wanjiru, Rose Wambui, John Mutahi, Margaret Wangui, Helen Waithera, Charles Gitau, Mary Wathoni and Robert Ngungu.

Brother-in-law of Joel, Martin and Violet among others.

Uncle of Githu Kamura and others.

Grandfather of Tendo Wambui and Wema Karimi.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at ACK Thika Memorial Church starting at 4:00 p.m.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at ACK Thika Memorial Church at 5:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati on Saturday, 5th September 2026 at 8:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at ACK Thika Memorial Church starting at 9:00 a.m., thereafter, interment at his home in Kimathi Village, Gaturi Location, Kiharu, Murang’a County.
