It is with deep sorrow, yet with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the demise of Mrs. Karen Wanjiru Ngugi.
Born in 1941, she peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday, 30th May 2026.
She was the devoted wife of The Very Rev. Dr. James N. Waithaka.
She was a loving mother of the late Mercy, Kiiru,Tabitha,Waithaka, Leah, the late Ruth, the late Stanley, Faith, Sarah, George, and Linus.
She was a cherished sister of Loise, Naphatali, the late Kimemia, the late Ngaari, Keziah, and the late Banga.
She was a treasured grandmother of Njoki, Ciru K, Mahia, Jacob, Sifa, Imani, Ciiru N, Gathoni, Ciku, Becki, and Mzae.
Family and friends are meeting everyday at 3.00pm at her home in Kianjiruini village Maragua.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 6th June 2026, at 9:30am at the Assembly Christian Church, Maragua, followed by interment at the Family Summit Farm in Kianjiruini Village.
The hearse will leave Monte Zuma Kabati at 8.00am.
