It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Jimmy Ochieng Ogolla on Tuesday 26th May 2026 through a tragic accident along Langata Road.
Jimmy was the beloved son of Fred Ogolla and Jean Ogolla. He was a devoted and loving husband of Tracy Mutembei.
Loving father of Mallia Treva and Tatiana Wanja. Adored brother of Ken Sore (USA), Faith Akinyi (USA) and Malcolm Malawi.
Loved cousin of Minnie, Bebo, Nyarads, Clinton, Angela, Michele, Jacky, Luki and Bryan, JB,Tinito, Joash, Joseph, Hadassah, Charles, Justin, G.K., Zuri, Harvey, Bhakita, Joyville, Liz, Omena, Leila and Mugisha, Linda Muthusi and Terry Muthusi, Doreen and Rob,Tony, Mariamu, Sophia, Ikhrana, Arjan, Ken and Rachel, Pettie, Inde, and Faith, among many others.

He was a beloved brother-in-law of Joyce Sore (USA), Joseph Kinyua (USA), Margaret Gichia (USA), Mary Nderi (USA), John Kinyua (USA), Stanley Nderi (USA), Lee Kungu (USA), and Mary Lincoln (Kenya).
Son-in-law of Ann Khasungu and brother-in-law of Vincent Rusiji of Nandi Hills.
He was grandchild of the late Joseph Ogolla Okado and the late Leonida Gomba Ogolla and Patricia Ogolla of Kanyibuop, Asayi Sub-location, North West Gem, Siaya County; and Faith Keeru of Chogoria, Meru County.
Family and friends are meeting every evening at Fred Ogolla’s Residence, Nkoroi, Ongata Rongai.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 4th June 2026 at 7:00AM to their rural home in Gem for a night vigil and burial will be on Friday 5th June 2026 at their home, Kanyipuop, Sirodha Village, North West Gem, Siaya County.
