It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Jane Susan Wairimu Njogu, who hailed from Kwa-Nderi, Karta Village, in Nyeri County. Until her demise, Jane worked at Traffic Headquarters.
She was the daughter of the late Phillip Njogu and the late Sabian Warugur.
Beloved mother of Keith Njogu.
Sister of Lucy Ngima (U.S.A.), Ann Nyakinyua, Antony Maina, and Roselyn Wambui (Wagura Primary).
Sister-in-law of Samuel Karungu and Lydia Maina (Giakanja Primary).
Aunt of Dr. Phillip, Njogu, Wahome, Alex, Moffat, Gatuguta, and Raymond.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kiambu and at their family home in Kwa-Nderi, Nyeri County, from 4:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Nyeri Funeral Home, Outspan, on Friday, 14th August 2026, at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral mass at Karta Catholic Sacred Heart Church, starting at 11:00 a.m. She will later be laid to rest near the church grounds.
