It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of David Karanja Thuo (Founder and Managing Partner of D.K Thuo & Company Advocates) which occurred on the 6th day of August 2026.
He was the son of the late Mr. Peter Thuo Thagichu and the late Mrs. Margaret Waithera.
Loving husband of Mrs Jane Nyambura.
Father of Margaret Waithera, Peter Thuo, the late Kevin Daniel Mbugua and Elsie Elizabeth Mumbi.
Brother of JSP Mirie, OJ Mbugua, Mercy Wanjiku (USA), Edward Ngumi, the late Simon Karani and the late Paul Thiongo, Sophia Njambi, Margaret Wangui, Mary Wambui, David Karanja and Sarah Wairimu and the late JP Mbogua, Edward Gacuno, Judith Wanjiku, Rachel Wanjiru and Dr. Moses Gakuru.
Grandfather of David Karanja, Aria Rono and David Karanja Thuo.
He was a great friend and confidant to many.
Funeral arrangements are being held daily at his residence at ‘Kwa mbari ya Aigi’ near Mugumo-ini School along Banana-Raini Road.
The cortege leaves Nazareth Funeral Home on the 17th day of August 2026 at 8:00 a.m. for a requiem mass at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Karuri at 11:00 a.m. and thereafter for an interment at his farm as aforesaid.
