ALICE NYAMBURA MBUGUA – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alice Nyambura Mbugua, which occurred on Friday 28th August 2026 at the Cherangany Nursing Home in Kitale.

She was the devoted wife of the late John Mbugua Gatunia.

Cherished mother of Jane Wanjiru & Philip Thuo, the late Joseph Njuguna & Lucia Wambui, Annah Njeri, Pauline Wangare & Geoffrey Munene, Salome Njambi & Naftali Kariuki, Samuel Maina & Rachel Mboo, David Njiriri & Peris Wanjiku, Paul Njehia & Janet Waithera, Mary Muthoni, Gideon Mathu & Mary Wanjiku, Grace Ng’endo & Stephen Mwangi, Daniel Kimani, Monicah Wanjiku & Bernard Kamande and Isaac Irungu & Everlyne Wangare.

She was the treasured daughter of the late Joseph Mbugua wa Mukuna and the late Hannah Wanjiru Mbugua.

She was a beloved sister of the late Njihia Mbugua, the late Salome Njambi Muniu, the late Mary Muthoni Mbugua, the late Naomi Wangari Mugendi, the late James Kimani Mbugua and the late Peter Kiunge Mbugua.

She was a proud and nurturing grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

The cortege will leave the Cherangany Nursing Home on Saturday 5th September 2026 at 7:00 a.m., after which the funeral and burial service will be held at her home in Kapsara Location, Cherangany – Kitale.
