It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs Phelles Akinyi Eberhardt of Ringa, Kojwach, Kabondo Kasipul who went to be with the Lord on the 29th August 2026.
Phelles was the daughter of the late Mzee Jairo Ondiegi, late Mama Beldina Ogonyo and late Mama Susanna Atieno.
She was the beloved wife of the late Udo Eberhardt.
Loving mother of Lilian Stephens, Ken Eberhardt, Judy Mbeke and Carol Eberhardt.
Phelles also held a special place in the lives of her late sister Naomi Okello’s children: Felix, Faith, Nick and Jerry, whom she helped raise, following their mother’s passing.
Mother-in-law of Pastor Stephens, Grace, Edward, Angela, Shadrack, Aline and Fanta.
Cherished grandmother of Leah, Miguel, Arsen, Benjy, Tyler, among others.
She is survived by one great-grandchild (Serenity).
The burial ceremony will take place on Friday, 25th September 2026, at her home in Kapseret, Eldoret, led by St. Paul’s Parish Catholic Church, Kapseret.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
