The Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph, Asumbi, regret to announce the death of our beloved Sister Elsa Mary Atieno, which occurred on 2nd September 2026 at Christamarianne Mission Hospital, Kisii.
Daughter of the late Mr. Lucas Oduor and the late Mrs. Maria Helida Akelo.
Sister of Linus Otieno Oduor, Gabriel Oduor Oduor, Ann Francisca Achieng, the late Aloice Francis Omondi Oduor, Emmanuel Onyango Oduor, Teresa Atieno and Nobert Omondi Oduor all of Doho Village, Doho Sub-County, Kisumu County.
The cortege left Christamarianne Mission Hospital, Kisii, at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, 14th September 2026 for the Reception Mass at Asumbi Mother House Chapel.
Burial is being held today, 15th September 2026 at St. Theresa’s Asumbi Cemetery.
