It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Senior Principal (Retired) Samson Warui Macharia formerly of Thika Garrison Secondary School in Kiambu County.
Son of the late Benjamin John Macharia and Irene Njeri Macharia. Brother of rev. Lucy Waitherero, Zachary Mwangi, Rev. Abraham Njogu, Elizabeth Wambui, Racheal Wanjeri, Tabitha Nyambura, James Makome and Moses Kimani.
He was beloved husband of Nancy Wangari and father of Eric Murimi, Belinda Njeri and Benjamin Macharia.
Son in law of Joshua Murimi and Unice Wanjiuru.
Brother in law of the late Esther Murimi, Johnbosco Murimi, Maryanne Mumbi Murimi, Joseph Waweru Murimi, the late Sarah Njoki Murimi, Jeremiah Maina Murimi, Mary Wambui Murimi, David Ngunu Murimi, Lucy Njeri Murimi, Felister Wairimu Murimi and Zipporah Wahu Murimi. Uncle to many.
There will be a memorial service at Thika Garrison Secondary School on Tuesday 16th July 2026 at 2.00 PM.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati on Friday 17th July 2026 5.00 AM for a funeral service at ACK Church Loitoktok Parish.
Thereafter burial at his home Kamukunji Estate Oloitoktok Town Kajiado County.
