It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Samuel Ruhiu Gathenge, who rested on 12 July 2026 at the age of 32.
Samuel was born in Gitundu Village, Gatundu South, to Evan Gathenge Muturi and Gladys Wangari Gathenge.
He was a beloved brother of Racheal Njeri Njuguna and Josphat Muturi.
He studied at Icaciri Primary School and Mururia High School before graduating from Moi University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Hospitality Management.
Throughout his career, Samuel worked at the Rift Valley Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, Thika Institute of Business Studies, Zetech University College and TSAVO Investment, where he served until his passing.
He leaves behind his loving family, friends, colleagues and the entire TSAVO family.
Though his passing leaves a deep void, his memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
The cortege will leave KU Mortuary Thika Rd on Saturday 18 July 2026 at 9.00 am burial will be at his parents home in Gitundu Village Gatundu South.
