We deeply regret to announce the death of Dr. Wilson Nyambu Chola which occurred on Thursday 09th July 2026 at St. Joseph’s Shelter of Hope Hospital — Ikanga — Voi after a long illness.
He was the son of the late Grace Walegwa and the late Ebrahim Chola of Ngodi — Lunonyi Village — Rong’e Juu, Mwatate Sub-County.
He was the beloved husband of Shiphrah Mkamburi Johnson. He was brother of the late Jason Kirangi, the late Diana Maghema, the late Jael Mghoi, the late Jones Mchawia, the late Frida Kina, the late Mwalwala, Claris Maghuwa, Duncan Mnjala, Hillary Sau & Janet Makumbo.
Father of Darius Kirangi, Grace Walegwa, Dennis Mwachia, Jemimah Wasai, Aldrin Chola and Prudence Kambe.
Father-in-law of Priscilla Mwasaru, Muraguri Muchira, Adelheid Sholz, Oliver Musengo, Christine Wahu and the late Bonnie I. Kitulah.
Grandfather of Shiphrah & Allan Waweru, Wilson Nyambu, Noel Mwasaru, Watiri & Erick Muriuki, Muchira Muraguri, Nyambu Muraguri, Wilson Nyambu, Jensen Mwachia, Ryan & Cate Mwakala, Shiphrah & Allan Korir, Tyrone Nyambu, Tyler Nyambu, Mackayla Wanjiiru, Shiphrah Mkamburi, Shiphrah M. Kitulah and Steve I. Kitulah.
Great grandfather of Mae Nyambura Waweru, Nia Mwae Waweru, Eli Kibiru Muriuki, Mikel Muraguri Muriuki, Nahla Wasai Mwakala, Nael Njumwa Macharia Mwakala and Kai Raphael Kiptoo.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday 18th July 2026 at Kishau Primary School’s field starting at 10.00am and later be laid to rest at his home in Ngodi — Lunonyi Village — Rong’e Juu.
