It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of Samuel Mwaura Mbarathi on Wednesday, 20th May 2026.
He was the son of the late Daniel Mbarathi Kange’the and the late Esther Wambui Mbarathi.
He was the son-in-law of the late David Muigai and Margaret Njoki Muigai.
Samuel was the loving husband of Grace Wangari Mwaura and a devoted father of Lesley Mbarathi, Elena Wambui, and Annah Njoki.
He was a brother of Kenneth & Jane, Joyce & Simon (UK), Tabitha & Graham (Australia), and James & Yvette.
He was a brother-in-law of Esther & David, Walter & Monica, Susan & Jay, Joyce & Ikwawe, and Njeri & Eric.
He was also a cherished uncle to many nephews and nieces.
As a dedicated Director of Afritech General Supplies Limited, he served diligently and touched many lives through his professionalism, kindness, and commitment to duty.
Mwaura leaves behind a family and a wide circle of friends who will greatly miss his love, generosity, and joyful presence.
He will forever remain in our hearts.
Family and friends are meeting daily from 6:00 PM at his home in Buruburu Phase 2 for prayers and fellowship.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital Funeral Home on Thursday, 4th June 2026 at 7:30 AM.
The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM at Gituamba Primary School, Gatanga Sub-County, Murang’a County.
