It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Retired Teacher Madam Milka Bosibori Masese of Bassi Masige East, Mosora Sub-Location, Kisii County, which occurred on 26th May 2026 at Nairobi West Hospital after a period of illness bravely borne.
She was the beloved wife of the late Mwalimu Sospeter Masese Moracha.
She was daughter of the late Josiah Muma and Fenike Jaluha of Riobara Sub-Location, Omobaya Village; and daughter-in-law of the late Moracha Bonyinyo and the late Kwamboka Nyareso of Irungu Village.
She was mother of the late Pamela Bonareri, Chris Nyagaka, Charity Kwamboka (USA), Jennifer Moraa, Irene Kemunto, Jared Moracha, Fred Samora (Jubilee Insurance) and Dianah Afwandi (SDC).
She was grandmother of Daphine, Wayne, Warren, Tiffany, Reagan, Chanel, Lionel, Linet, Diana, Dan, Fancy, Sospeter, Fenike, Bosibori, Gabriana and Gabriella, among others.
She was sister of the late Paulina, Bathsheba, the late Ezekiel, Abel, Peter, Ben, the late Kennedy, Josephine, the late Jane and Joyce.
She was mother-in-law of Gillian Omari, Elkana Nyamache, Wilfridah Okindo, Regina Omwando,Velina Ondiba and Anunda Charles.
She was sister-in-law of the late Moywaywa, the late Truphena, the late Ongeri, Lazaro, the late Ongori, the late Machoka, and the late Bonyinyo, among others.
She was Korera of the late Okindo and Tabitha; Evans Omari and the late Nyasuguta; the late Nelson Nyamache and Milka; Julius Ondiba and the late Kwamboka; and William Anunda and Esther.
She was aunt of Moywaywa’s, Lazaro’s, Ongeri’s, Ongori’s, Mwendi’s, Muma’s, Machoka’s and Bonyinyo’s families, among others.
Burial arrangements are underway both in Nairobi and at her rural home in Mosora.
Family, friends and well-wishers are invited to a Family Thanksgiving, Prayer and Fundraising Meeting to be held on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026 at 5.00 p.m. at Cardinal Otunga Plaza, 9th Floor, Nairobi.

The body leaves Umash Funeral Home on 4th June 2026 at 7.00 a.m.,
Burial will take place on Friday, 5th June 2026, at her home in Mosora Village, Bassi Masige West, Kisii County.
