Son-in-law of late Dickson Gatura and Gladys Wangui.
Beloved husband of Rose Wanjiku Mbuthia. Dotting father of Edith Wangechi & Edward Kinyua & Erastus Kang’aru Mbuthia.
Grandfather of Edrian Kareu Kinyua, Neema Wanjiru Kinyua & Elia Mbuthia Kinyua.
Brother of Purity & Leonard Wachira, the late Tabitha Wambura & late Mutu Gethoi, Mwara & Kamoji Kang’aru Wachira, Eva & William Mahungu, Zipporah & Job Ndirangu, Damaris & Hosea Ng’ang’a, Elizabeth & Timothy Njogu & Susan Kariuki.
Brother-in-law of Francis Ndegwa, Lucy Wangu & Benson Wamae, Patrick Maina & Jane Gathoni.

The Funeral Service will be held at P.C.E.A Muhito Church on Friday, 12th June 2026 at 10:00 am and there after interment at his home in Ngoru, opposite Ngoru Secondary School in Mukurweini.
