With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Roy Kibet Kipkoech, a dedicated 4th-year student at JKUAT, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Control and Instrumentation following a road accident on Sunday, 30th August 2026, along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.
Beloved son of Mr. John Kipkoech Bargoety (Kenya Pipeline Plc) and Mrs. Joyce Bargoety.
Cherished brother of the late Collins Kiplagat Koech and Camilla Cherop Kipkoech.
Roy was a treasured grandson of Mr. Wilson Bargoety, the late Rebecca Bargoety, the late Mr. Johnstone Kiptoo, and the late Mrs. Miriam Kiptoo.
He was a dear nephew of Betty, Chemutai, Hosea, Elijah, Kibet, Mercy, Sheila, Lydia, Cleophas, Jacob, Amos, Enock, Caro, Patrick, and Keitany.
Beloved cousin of Mike, Kipro, Kosgei, Kiplimo, Deborah, Remmie, Carlos, Beracah, Christabel, Cynthia, Abel, Kevin, and many others.
The cortege will leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Friday, 4th September 2026, for a night vigil at their family home in Moi’s Bridge, Toror Farm.
Funeral Service and burial will take place on Saturday, 5th September 2026 at their Toror Farm, Moi’s Bridge, Uasin Gishu County.
