It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Diocese of Embu announces the passing on of Rev Fr Moses Njagi Njoroge. He died on 1st September 2026 at Consolata Hospital Kyeni undergoing treatment.
He was son of the late Richard Njoroge Gatugo and the late Ann Igandu. His step mothers were the late Lucia Wandugi and the late Lydia Rudia Gachoki.
His siblings were Alexander Mukono, Lawrence Wachira, Joseph Njeru, Celeste Njeru, Francis Njue, Sara Wanjira, Lea Marigu and many others.
He was uncle, grandfather and great grandfather to many.
His Requiem Mass will be at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Embu on 5th September 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
On Sunday 6th September 2026, the cortege leaves St. Raphael Funeral Home at Consolata Hospital Kyeni for requiem mass at 3:00 p.m. at Kianjokoma Parish Church. After Mass, the cortege will be taken to rest at the Resurrection Chapel at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral on Sunday 6th September 2026.
On Monday 7th September 2026, the Mass starts at 10:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral Church.
