We mourn the passing of Professor Emeritus Clement Meshack Peter Oniang’o, which occurred on 30th April 2026.
He was an accomplished scholar in Philosophy, devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, colleague and friend to many.
Prof. Oniang’o taught at Kenyatta University and the University of Nairobi, where he also served as Chairperson of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, and then Dean of then Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
Funeral plans are ongoing and will be communicated in due course.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
