Beloved son of the late John Maina Githinji and Eunah Wanjiru Maina. Devoted husband of Martha Waruguru Wanjohi of Gulf Hardware, Karatina.
Cherished father of Kennedy Kinyua Wanjohi, Sospeter Kimani Wanjohi, Eunice Wanjiru Wanjohi, and John Maina Wanjohi.
He was a proud father-in-law of Esther Kinyua, Linet Kimani, and Daniel Sande.
Brother of the late Rose Njeri, Geoffrey Mwangi, the late Simon Gichimu, the late Mary Wandla Kimangi, Jane Walirimu Mwatha, Joyce Wangu, Grace Wangui, Charles Kinyua, and Anne Gathoni Weru.
Treasured grandfather of Sophia Kimani, Hope Kinyua, Patrick Kimani, Jesicca Sande, John Kinyua, Elaine Sande, Ruby Maina, Jake Kinyua, and Helley Kinyua.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kienja-ini Location from 5:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Jamii Funeral Home on Friday, 3rd July 2026, at 8:00 a.m. for a memorial service at Kienja-ini P.C.E.A. Church, Karatina, followed by the funeral service and burial thereafter at his home in Kienja-ini, Karatina.
