It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Pamela Risper Mwajuma Onyango (Pami), on 31st August 2026 at Aga Khan University Hospital, following a short illness.
Pamela was the beloved wife of Mr. John Onyango, EBS, OGW (Deputy Director, DCI) and a devoted mother of Frank, Nelly, Velma, Vivian, Joy, Lenny, Annabelle and O’Neill Otieno.
She was the first-born daughter of the late Carmelu Owino and Mary Owino.
A born-again Christian and God-fearing woman, Pamela will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and welcoming spirit. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and cherished memories.
Prayer meetings: Family and friends meet at the DCI Headquarters residence and Stella, Migori, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Funeral: The cortege leaves Montezuma on 18th September 2026 after a service for Migori.
Burial will take place on 19th September 2026 at the family home in Centre Garage, Stella, Migori County.
