It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mzee-Mwalimu Dominic Maina Mutisya which occurred on Wednesday, 01/07/2026 after a short illness.
Son of the late Mutisya Wa Thuo and the late Njoki wa Ngoru.
Mwalimu Dominic is survived by his wife Mary Njeri Maina, and his children; Simon Irungu, Virginia Njoki, Victoria Wanjiru, Elizabeth Wambui, late John Waweru, James Mugo, Andrew Muhia, Vincent Kamau, Julius Mbuthia, Nelson Ndegwa and the late Wangari.
He was brother of the late Benson Mugo and the late Elizabeth Wambui. He is survived by many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Meetings to assist in the burial arrangements are being held at his rural home in Nyakahura Village, Iyego Location, Kangema Sub-County, Muranga County.
Nairobi meetings are happening from Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th from 6.00pm at Sunstar Hotel near Roasters, Garden estate.
The cortege will leave Muranga County Mortuary on Friday, 10th July 2026 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and burial at his residence in Nyakahura Village approximately 10-12 Km from Muranga Town.
