Son of the late Otwori Nyabena and the late Elizabeth Otwori. Beloved husband of the late Keresensia Moraa and Francisca Banchiri.

Brother in-law of Concepta, Agnes, late Prisach, Margaret, Nyakwama, Nyangaro, Meshack, Nyabuto, Moraa, late Trusillah, Irene, Jane, Fidelis, Matcha, Mwaniki and others.
Father of Jorame Makori, Callen, Azenath, Gerald, Peter (Geoffrey), Brian, Victor and Verah.

His body is lying at Kisii Level 6. Preparation are ongoing at his home in Kisii and at Nairobi.
The main fundraising will be held on Tuesday 7th July, 2026 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 5pm and his home in kisii from 2.00pm.
The cortege will leave Kisii Level 6 Mortuary on Thursday 9th July 2026 for an overnight Vigil at his home.
The burial will take place on Friday 10th July, 2026 at his home in Bomachoge Chache, Mwanyabena Village, Nyaiseiro Sub Location, Sengera Location, Gucha Sub-County, Kisii County.
