It is with deep sorrow, yet in humble submission to the will of God, that we announce the passing of Fred Ogachi Nyagaka (Kisii County Government), which occurred on 24th June 2026 in Nairobi, following a courageous battle with illness.
He was the beloved husband of Damaris, and a loving father of Janelle and Zack.
Son of Director Joseph Nyagaka and Mama Pauline Nyagaka. Brother of Nancy, the late George, Charles, Jackie, Dr. Caren, and Benard. Son-in-law of Elder Zack and mama Esther Ong’era.
Brother-in-law of Ronnie, Diana, Derrick, Almasi, Callen, Shem, Dr. Msava and Dr. Momanyi.
Cousin of the Omares, Mienchas and others.
Family planning meetings are being held daily in both Nairobi and Kisii.
A fundraiser is support of the outstanding hospital bill and funeral expenses will be held on Saturday, 11th July 2026, from 3:00 PM, at Bushmark Restaurant, Karen, Nairobi and on 13th July 2026 at Bonyankama village.
The cortege will depart from Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Thursday, the 16th July 2026 for an overnight vigil.
He will be laid to rest on the 17th July 2026, at his home in Bonyankama village, Nyamache, Kisii County.
