It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved father Jeremiah Kibet Cheburet which occurred on 29th August 2026 after a long illness.
He was a loving husband of Esleen Jesang Cheburet.
Father of Hezekiah Kipkemoi, Mary Jebiwot, Job Kipchirchir, Anne Kigen and Faith Jepchumba.
He was the son of the late Cheburet Kapkwenyi and the late Sote Cheburet.
Brother of Tungo Kapchemoloi, the late Tungo KapMorwes, James Cheburet, Esther and Samwel Cheburet.
Father-in-law of Mathew Kipngetich, Daniel Cheruiyot and Denis Bittok.
Brother-in-law of the late Isack Chelagat, Robert Chelagat, the late Judith Boit, Sarah Kiplagat, Keneth Chelagat and Alice Lelkutwo.
Grandfather of Brighton Kigen, Britney Jebiwot, Joy Jerono, Ivann Kiprop, Megan Jepchumba, Wema Jebet, Morgan Kiprop, Darren Kipchirchir, Wema Chepchumba and Naet Chebet.
Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kaprogonya village (Kabarnet Town) from 2:00 p.m. for fellowship and funeral arrangements.
A fundraising to cater for the hospital bill will take place on Wednesday 2nd September 2026 at Kaprogonya home and Kaplel.
The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital Funeral Home on Saturday 5th September 2026 at 8:00 a.m., for a funeral service at his home in Kaplel near Tabagon Girls, Sacho Location, Baringo County.
