Its with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the death of Mwalimu Isaac Odundo Geda (Dudi Girls High school) that occurred on 12th May 2026 due to illness.
Son of the late Yashon Geda Okatch and late Rael Oduya.
Beloved husband of Farida Odundo, loving father of Sara Achieng, late Rachel Marvis, Yvette Awuor, Teddy Okoth, Wendy Knight, Leila Nicole and caring grandfather of Liam James, Chris Wright and Kyle Shem.
Brother of Jane Okumu, Hanna Akumu,Titus Opon, Late Dina Onyango, Hellen Omwandho and Moses Ouma.
Step brother of the late Daniel Geda, Peter Geda, Edward Geda and Ezekiel Geda .
Brother in law of William Okumu (late), Samson Akumu (late) Isaiah Onyango (late), Paul Omwandho, Elsa Opon and Linet Ouma.
He was an uncle, cousin, friend and mentor to many.
Mwalimu’s wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering dedication helped shape the lives of many, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Osika Village, Kendu-Bay for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Gendia nursing home on 4th June at 12pm with a brief stop for prayers in Kwoyo SDA church then proceed to his home.
Mwalimu will be laid to rest on 5th June, 2026 at his home in Ramogi Village-Osika.
