It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Kabugi Kingori (Joskaki) of Nanyuki, which occurred on Wednesday, 9th September 2026, at Cottage Hospital, Nanyuki.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy Wambui Kabugi.
He was the loving father of the late Mary Wanjiru Kabugi, Francis Kingori Kabugi, the late William Matheka Kabugi, Josphat Gitonga Kabugi, the late Daniel Thuo Kabugi, Dr. Jane Nyawira Kabugi, the late Peter Kirugu Kabugi, and George Mugo Kabugi.
He was a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to many.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at Ernest Hotel, Nanyuki, from 6:00 p.m. and at the family home in Katheri from 3:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Nanyuki Cottage Hospital Funeral Home on Friday, 18th September 2026, at 8:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at his home in Katheri, followed by the burial at the same place.
Mzee was 90 years old.
