It is with profound and humble acceptance of God’s will that Tai Sacco Society Limited announces the passing of our beloved Chairman Supervisory Committee and a founder of Tai Housing Cooperative Society, Retired Teacher Francis Gitau Michino after an illness.
He was a beloved husband of Jane Nduta Gitau and a devoted father of Evan Kirunge (Mandera County Government), Milka Waithera (Tai Sacco), Charles Kinuthia (Muranga County Government), Stephen Kiarie (Githunguri Water), Samuel Mburu (Nairobi Business Man), late John Ndugiri Gitau and Samuel Kamau Gitau (Business Man).
Father in law of Lucy Muthoni, Alice Muthoni, Naomi Mbbet, Margaret Nyambura and Caroline Wanjiru.
Brother of Stephen Kiarie, John Ndugu, Rahab Nyambura Njuguna, late Eunice Wangui, and Daniel Njuguna.
He will be deeply missed for his wisdom, exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to Tai DT Sacco. His legacy of service and mentorship will forever remain in our hearts.
The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home Githunguri at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, 18th September 2026 for burial at his home in Gathore, Lari Sub-county.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
