It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Mr. Francis Kago Gathuo of Franvi Construction Company Ltd. after a long illness bravely borne.
He was the son of the late Henry Gathuo Kago & the late Teresia Mwihaki wa Gathuo (Wanyungu).
He was the beloved husband of Virginia Wakonyo Kago.
His siblings are the late Patrick Gathenya, the late Joseph Mwema, the late Mary Muthoni Mambo, Lucas Gichuri, Vincent Kariuki, Lucy Wambui Kairo, Anne Wanjiku, Jane Wanjiru and the late Richard Kamau.
He leaves behind his dedicated children Caroline Mwihaki, Henry Gathuo, Antony Karanja, Stephen Gathenya, Teri Nyakio, Mary Muthoni and the late Patrick Njenga.
He was a dotting grandfather to Emily, Carson, Cristian, Contessa, Marvin, Lauren, Victoria and Tricia. He was an uncle and cousin to many.
Family & friends are meeting daily at his Tigoni residence from 3pm.
The cortege leaves Nairobi Adventist Hospital Funeral Home – Nyari next to SDA Karura on Thursday the 16th of April 2026 at 9am and proceed to St. Joseph Catholic Church Loreto Limuru. Funeral ceremony will start at 11am.
He shall be interred thereafter at his farm next to Tigoni Manor.
