It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of Atoni Abuga announces the promotion to glory of their beloved Mr. Alfred Atoni Abuga, who passed away after a long illness.
He was the beloved husband of Milka Kwamboka.
Son of the late Patrick Abuga, the late Aska Kerubo, and the late Kanisa Abuga.
Loving father of Jane Gesare, Gladys Nyaboke, Christopher Onsumu, Jackline Atoni, Sabin Moraa (USA), and Hon. Leonard Omariba.
Cherished grandfather of Nelly Kombo, Lenis Atoni, Obed Kombo, Casemiro Onsumu, and Aisha Kwamboka.
He was brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
The funeral fundraising (Harambee) will be held on Tuesday, 11th August 2026, at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 12th August 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi.
The cortege will leave Nairobi on Thursday, 13th August 2026, for Nyankanda.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 14th August 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Nyankanda Primary School, followed by burial at his home.
