It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lorna Mercy Kagwiria Kagu (Mama Ciku) which occurred on 2nd August 2026 following a road accident.
Daughter of the late Amos Mutwiri Samuel and Evelyn Mutarari Mutwiri of Nyaki/Giaki, Meru County.
Wife of the late Samuel Kagu.
Beloved mother of Marynasha Wanjiku (Daystar University) and Jeff Georgies Mwangi (Anestar Boys High School).
Sister of Herbert Kinoti (UK), Ezekiel Kimathi (Australia), Jeremiah Kithinji and Patrick Kiriiinya.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Green View Court (Utawala) and Club Zulu 16 Point, both in Tala and Kamakis at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Hospital Funeral Home, along Northern Bypass on Wednesday 12th August 2026 at 8:00 a.m. for the burial service at their family home in Nyamathi Village, Naivasha, near Keroche Breweries.
