It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mathew Kinyanjui Kanini (KANTEX), which occurred on 5th September 2026.
He was the beloved husband of Caroline Muthoni and a loving father and grandfather. He was the son of the late Michael Kanini and Isabella Wambui.
He was a brother of Fredrick Mwangi, Nancy Nduta, Sister Catherine Waithera, Agnes Njoki, Felix Gatimu, Basilio Kiarie, and Cecilia Wangari (Terry).
He was the son-in-law of the late John Gichagua and the late Catherine Njoki.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Buruburu Phase 3, at Del Farm Hotel, Nairobi CBD, and at the family’s rural home in Nyahururu, Munge tho Farm (Kanothi), for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The Holy Mass and burial will take place at the family’s rural home in Nyahururu, Munge tho Farm (Kanothi), on Tuesday 15th September 2026.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
