We the Family of the late Hudson Kihima Gweru with profound grief and sorrow announce the passing on our matriarch and pillar of strength, Mama Hadah Kohombi Kihima. She resided at Kapakangi, Mugoywa Village, Kapkangani ward, Emgwen Constituency, Nandi County.

Mama Hadah was the daughter of the late Mzee Hezron Mugadia Agufa and the late Mama Tabera Esendi Mugadia.

She was a devoted wife of the late Mzee Hudson Kihima Gweru, and loving Mom of the late Alice Muhanji Nyabuti, Joseph M’mbukia Kihima (Agiza Book Shop), Esther Mugadwa Mwelesa, James Gweru Kihima, Catherine Oresia Kihima (Hilcrest International schools), the late Ebby Kendi Ochierg, Nickson Kihima Isaya (USA), Patson Bwawa Kihima (Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd) and Christine Nyamira.

Loving grandmother of Getrude Kagenda, Marjorie Kaburi (UNEP), Michael Kabari (AFDB), Dr Marliyn Nyabuti (University of Nairobi & KEMRI), Dr Benson Chuma (TC4A), Phelim Nyabuti (Africa Health Business), Beverly Agiza (KEFRI), Seydou Amazze (Papa Johns), Michelle Kaduka (Advocate of the High Court of Kenya), Franklin Kihima (Carrefour), Penelope Agiza, Hillary Mousa, Cindy Kahombi, Hudson Kihima – Junior, Nicole Muhonja, George Ondieki Ochierg, Jaren Kihima, Vincent Joseph Kihima, Wayne Kihima, Imali Kahombi, Ryan Langawa.

Great grandmother of TJ, Edelle, Bella, Avan, Eden, Kwame, Tandwe, Kihima, Isla and Iya.

The body lies at White Crescent Hospital Mortuary-Kapsabet. Family and friends are meeting at her Home in Kapkangani.

The cortege leaves White Crescent Hospital Mortuary on Friday 18th August 2026 at 10:00 a.m. for service at Friends Church Cheptogok at 12 noon. Burial Ceremony will be held at her home on Saturday 19th August 2026 from 9:00 a.m.
