It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Grace Akinyi Ogola, which occurred on 25 th May, 2026.
Mama Grace was born in 1972 in Kogelo, Dier Aora.
She was beloved daughter of the late Hezekiah Ooko Kiaye and Mama Jenifer Akeyo Ooko.
Sister of the late Peterson Ouru, Silpa Owino, the late Gordon Onyango Ooko, the late Millicent, the late Helix Owino, Florence Anyango, Nicholas Opiyo and Leah Awino.
She was a loving wife of the late Assistant Chief Gabriel Ogola Okumu.
Mother of Frederick Ogola and Benson Ogola. Mother-in-law of Beverlyne Ayuma Omondi, Millicent Adongo Omondi and Michelle Sayo Odhiambo.
Grandmother of Joylyne Akinyi, Joan Grace Akinyi, Nicole Precious, Grace Mideva Akinyi and Gabrielle Paul Odhiambo (Both of Accurate Schools, Nairobi).
Harambee is scheduled on 13th June 2026 at her home in Pe-Hill Village.

The cortege will leave Rapcom Mortuary on 15th June 2026 straight to St. Peter’s Pe, where a requiem mass will be held, thereafter, the cortege will leave for a night vigil at her matrimonial home.
The burial ceremony will be held on 16 th June 2026 in Pe-Hill Village, South Sakwa Sub-location, Alego West Location, Awendo Sub-Country.
