It is with deep sorrow but acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Dr. Isaiah Kimurgor Tanui, which occurred on 3rd June, 2026.
He was a dedicated medical professional, a servant of God, and a pillar to many.
Son of Rtd. Justice Barabara K. Tanui, Milcah Tanui, and the late Rachael Tanui.
Husband of Rev. Jane Tanui. Loving Father of Mrs. Alice Ronny, Victoria Chemutai, Alex Israel, Grace Chelimo, Diana Kimurgor, Daisy Kimurgor, and Mercy Chelagat.
Brother of Rosemary Biwott, Dr. Geoffrey Kirongo, the late Barnabas Bor, Dr. Eudia Arusei, Adv. Job Rugut, Eng. Nicholas Temoet, Prof. Priscah Too, Rebecca Jelagat, Joseph Bor, Dr. Mary Rono, Mrs. Sarah Kitur, Dr. Florence Cheseret, Eng. Benjamin Kirongo, Eng. Moses Tanui, Adv.Aaron Tanui, and Mrs. Lydia Biwott.
Friends, colleagues, and the medical fraternity are invited to a special service to celebrate Daktari’s impactful life on Tuesday, 9th June, 2026 at CITAM – Karen, Nairobi from 2:00PM.
The cortege will leave Nairobi on Friday, 12th June, 2026.
The final send-off and burial service will take place on Saturday, 13th June, 2026, at his home in Sarura, Nandi County.
