It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our dear matriarch Mama Domitila Atieno Abuodha which occurred on 15th August 2026.
She was the daughter of the late Bernadus Akwede and late mama Rosealla Akwede.
She was the wife of the late Charles Joseph Abuodha Ohene and co-wife of Mama Pamela Atieno Abuodha.
Mother of the late Eng. Christopher Abuodha, late Thomas Mulambe, Prof. (Eng.) Silvester Abuodha, late Charles Abuodha, Rosemary Omogo, Jane Abuodha, Angellina Oyoo, Christine Otieno, Lucy Odhiambo and Ruth Randiga.
Mother-in-law of Noel, Irene, late Karol, late Nobert, Mordecai, Tom, Nick, Dishon and Francis.
Grandmother of Joe and Mary, Angela and George, Claire and Vinnie, Charles and Quincy, Diana, Andrew, Serah, Alex, Ken, Kala and John Mark, Kita and Peter, Laura and Albert, Phillip, Sharon, Sandra, Barbara, Frank, Samuel, Joshua, Joseph, Enoch, Elizabeth, Moses, Tania, Telma, Abraham, Jesse, Abib, Ethan Ryan.
She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
She will be buried on 29th August 2026 at her home in Jera Sub-location, Siaya County.
