It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Lydia Wanjiku Macharia of California USA.
Daughter of the late Samuel Macharia Karanja and Grace Nyambura Macharia.
Beloved mother of John Davis Macharia (USA).
She was sister of Paul Karanja, James Gachie, Martin Mwangi (Seattle USA), Peninah Waithera (Los Angeles) and Mercy Macharia (Coventry UK).
She was an aunt of Sam Macharia (Dubai), David Macharia (Dubai), Sammy Macharia, Dan Githuku (Seychelles), Brian Karanja (USA), Josephine Nyambura, Ruth Wambui (Dubai), haron Nyambura (Seychelles) and Joy Mercy Mwangi. She was a cousin to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at New Sarivid Thindigua, Kiambu Road, behind Quick Matt supermarket daily from Monday – Saturday starting 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Kabati on Friday 3rd July 2026 at 8:00am.
The burial ceremony will take place at their home Murarandia village, Murang’a from 10:30am.
