It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ms. Deborah Mwanika Muchilwa which occurred on 31st May through a tragic road accident.
Until her demise she served as a Lecturer in the Department of Business administration and Management Science, School of Business and Economics at Masinde Mulliro University of Science and Technology and also the Coordinator at MMUST Bungoma Campus.
She was beloved mother of Gene Gituku, Chenda Wangu Gituku and Nate Gituku.
Deborah was beloved daughter of Mr. Dishon Muchilwa and Mrs Kathleen Chenda Muchilwa formerly of Kibabii University.
Granddaughter of the late Robert Muchilwa and Dinah Muchilwa and late Andrew Katana and late Margaret Nyevu.
She was niece of Adah Alubale, Sarah Ndombi, Loice Sagala,Victoria Kahindi, Florence Kafedha, Late Amutsama, Arthur Okwemba, Festus, Rev.Amianda, Zadock, Stephen Kahindi and Simba of Gede Malindi. Cousin of Mary, Phina, Rehema, Andrew, Nyevu, Ronsky Sifa, Juma Said, Patrick, Jackson, Dennis, Simon, Alphy, Doris, Debora, Daina, Robina, Esther,Victor, Katanas, Okwemba’s, Amutsama’s, Aholi’s, Alubale’s, Ndombi’s, Amianda’s, Sagala’s, Zadock’s, Kahindi’s, Simba’s, Jacob’s among others.

There will be a harambee to offset medical and funeral expenses in Nairobi at St. Andrews PCEA church on Friday 26th June 2026 starting at 4pm. Contributions can be sent via paybill 247247
