It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Laban Macharia Muiruri (B.C) that occurred on Thursday, 21st May 2026.
Son of the late Justus Muiruri Marugu and the late Rachael Njeri of Gatunguru village.
Loving husband of Agnes Wanjiru. Son in-law of the late Caesar Kamata and the late Rachael Njoki of Gikondi village, Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County.
Father of Ninnah Njeri (Kiriko Special School), Carol Njoki (Kalimoni Primary School), the late Justus Muiruri and Caesar Kamata (USA). Brother of Tabitha Wambui, Charles Maina (USA), Edward Mwangi, John Ngugi, Jane Wangari, Simon Muthaka, the late Peter Kanyoro, Winnie Wangui, Livingstone Gichuhi and Robert Irungu.
Father in-law of John Matheri (former Director KTDA Mataara Factory), Antony Migwi (Thika Barracks School) and Joan Kamata (USA). Grandfather of Purity, Cynthia, Brian, Alex, Justine, Laban and Eddah.
Family and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Gituamba Gatundu North starting at 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati on Tuesday, 2nd June 2026 at 8.00am for a funeral service and interment at his home in Gituamba Gatundu North starting at 11.00am.
