Son of the late Bethuel Mwangi and the late Elishiba Mboo Mwangi.
Husband of the late Esther Waithira Kabathi.
Father of Judy (Ministry of Health), Allan (Mjini Primary), Beth (US, Atlanta Georgia), Wilfred (Kenya Railways), late Anthony, Jane (Octagon & Newday Bookshop), Rosemary (MOH Tharaka Nithi County), and Michael (Pacers Boutique).
Father in law of Sarah, Lucy, Laura, Robert, Mary and the late Waweru.
Grandfather of Karen, Queen, Caleb, Esther, James, Linda, Jamie, Melissa, Asher, Tonia, Lashi, Witness, Mumbi, River, Prince, King, Myles, Daniel, Esther Rose, Casper, Mima, Ryan and great grandfather of Spencer.
Dear brother of Jane Wanjiru Thuo, late Gathitu & Ndegwa, Jacinta Njecuri, Mary Wangeci, Mercy Waithira & John Chege.
Son in law of late Jahaziel Mbira, and Beth Muthoni.
Brother in Law of late Earnest Mbira, Elias Macharia, Charles Maina, RoseMary Wanjîra, Lucy, Hannah and Grace Chege.
The remembrance meetings are being held daily at Holy Family Bacilica, Nairobi from 5.00pm, Famous Hotel Murang’a from 7.00pm and at his residence Kirima village, Mûrang’a County.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home at Kabati on Tuesday 2nd June, 2026.
The funeral service will be held at St.James Kagira Grounds at 10.00am, thereafter proceed to the final resting place at his home, Kirima Village, Mwirua Sub-location, Murang’a County.
