It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our Koko Emma Iberia Mudeheri of Murhanda village, Shinyalu Sub County, Kakamega on the 20th July 2026.
Daughter of the late Paul Matekwa and Elena Asubira of Shivakala, Imusali.
Wife of the late Joseph Mudeheri Shimenga.
Loving mother of the late Eng. Charles McBain Shimenga, Paulina, Queen, Margaret, Maurice Abung’ana formerly of Kalro, Rosemary, Principal Elphas Mudeheri, the late Khatenje, the late Leonida, Bernard, Pamela and Betty.
Mother-in-law of Tabitha Shimenga, Azibeta, Rose, Edith, the late Violet, Abraham, Musa, the late Bosco and the late Charles.
Grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to many.
The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral Parlour on Thursday, 30th July 2026 for a Requiem Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Murhanda Village then an overnight vigil at her home in Murhanda village, Kakamega.
Burial will be held on Saturday, 1st August 2026, at her home in Murhanda village, Shinyalu Sub-County, Kakamega County.
