It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, Kevin Kiplimo Kosgei. Before his demise, he was an employee of the Social Health Authority (SHA), Kapsabet.
Beloved firstborn son of Barnabas Kosgei and Nancy Kosgei of Cheptil Village.
Cherished brother of Maureen Kosgei and Dr. Marion Kosgei.
Adored grandson of the late Noah Kipkosgei Malel and Anna Malel, and the late Edward Chemogos and Damaris Chemogos.
Kevin was a devoted husband of Ruth Chepkoech and a loving father of their son, Kyle Kosgei.
He passed away on 31st August 2026 while receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Fountain Hospital.
The cortege leaves the Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 8th September 2026 at 1:00 p.m. and taken to St. John’s ACK Church Sigowet for a memorial service. Thereafter, the body will be taken to his home in Chemalal Village for an overnight vigil.
The burial service will take place on Wednesday, 9th September 2026 from 9:00 a.m., at his home in Chemalal Village, Turbo Sub-County, Uasin Gishu County.
