JUDY KATUMBI KYENGO

31st July 1987 ~ 30th August 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Judy Katumbi Kyengo, which occurred on 31st August 2026. At the time of her passing, she was an esteemed employee of New Wide Apparel EPZ Ltd (Athi River).

Judy was the beloved daughter of the late Jones Kyengo Kasyoka and Dolly Wanja Kyengo.

She was the devoted wife of Justus Muiruri Gitau (Machakos County) and a loving mother of Curtis Vince Muiruri (Stepping Stones, Kitengela).

She was a cherished sister of Florence Karimi Kyengo and Carolyne Mbulwa Kyengo, and a respected sister-in-law of Patrick Mweu Musembi (SkyLift Cargo Clearing) and Timothy Kakucha.

Judy was also a loving aunt of Leon Mweu, Kool Mweu, and Sherry Wanja, and a cousin to many.

Meetings are currently being held at her home near EPZ, Kifaru Court.

A fundraiser (harambee) to assist with hospital expenses will be held on Sunday, 6th September 2026, commencing at 5:00 p.m.

The burial will take place on 9th September 2026, at her husband’s home in Gatundu North, along Kang’oo–Mukurwe Road, near Mums Garden Resort.
