It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of Muthaura announces the sudden demise of John Mworia Muthaura.
Son of the late Zacharia M’Muthaura and the late Salome Kinya, of Mariene Meru and son in law of the late Gerald Mwarania and the late Juliana Mwarania of Nkubu, Meru.
He was the loving husband of Priscilla Miriko Muthaura. Loving father of James and Caroline Mutari, Timothy and Julie Gitonga, Lucy and Job Murimi.
A loving grandfather of Trevor, Jason, Talia, Koome, Muriuki, Kagwiria and Wamaitha.
Brother of the late Priscilla Kioro and David Kaaria, Francis and Rose Muthaura, the late Jacinta Kiende and the late Charles Kirimi, Rosemary Kathuni and the late Samuel Ntarangwi, Catherine Ncabira and the late Francis Mworia, Monica Karambu and Matumbi Ringera.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mariene, Meru.
The funeral service will be held at St. Peter ‘s Catholic Church Mariene as from 10.00am and burial thereafter at his home on Saturday 6th June 2026.
