It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of Isabel Wanjiru Kiragu on the 10th July 2026 after a short illness.
Until her death, she worked for Occidental Insurance and previously worked for ICEA – LION GROUP:
Beloved daughter of Mr. Evans Kiragu (formerly of Manson Hart & Kenya Clay Products) and Mrs. Mercy Kiragu.
Loving mother of Jewel Nyawira. Sister of Eric Kiragu and Simon Muturi.
Granddaughter of the late Isaac Kiragu Kangi and late Isabella Wamutira Kiragu and the late Abram Gakoru and late Edith Gakoru.
Loving niece of uncles and aunts – late Paul Kinyua, late Mwai, late Wangari, late Muthoni, late Wanjiku, Wambui, late Nelson Njiru, Muriithi, Tabitha, Wambeti, Gaita and Njoki.
Cousin, friend and colleague to many.
Friends and family are meeting at St. Mark’s Church, opposite Lions Place off Waiyaki way on Monday and Tuesday from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
The memorial service will take place on Wednesday 15th July 2026 at ACK St. Francis Church, Karen from 11:00am.
The cortege will leave Lee funeral home on Saturday 18th July 2026 at 7.00am for funeral service at ACK Church Kamuiiru, Kirinyaga Central Constituency, Kirinyaga county starting at 10.30am followed thereafter by the burial at the Mugaya family home.
