With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Elizabeth.

Loving wife of the late Labourn Bakhressa Shilishia Minishi.

Loving mother of Tem-Evans Shamalla, Barbara Khaliyesa & Kenneth Sambu.

Caring mother-in-law of Sharon Ominde & grandmother of Ayanna & Liora.

Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Rapison Khaemba and the late Lenah Nasambu.

Daughter-in-law of the late Festo and the late Elizabeth (Lusanji) Minishi of Lirhembe Village Ikolomani, Kakamega.

Treasured niece of Alfred and Catherine Sambu.

Sister of Masoni Wavomba, Margaret Akutekha, Tom Khaemba, the late Pius Wekesa, the late Mary Wakasa, the late William Mumasaba and the late Moses Maelo.

Sister-in-law of the late Eliud Shivachi, Origen Minishi Maviala, the late Wycliffe Minishi, Professor Mabel Minishi, Jane Minishi Etsula, Oliver Minishi, Henrietta Minishi Barr & Rosalind Minishi; the late Norah Shivachi, Pauline Moraa, Zubeda Shivachi, Loy Maviala, the late Leonida Minishi, the late Morris Etsula, Ruth Njeri Minishi, Joseph Barr, Alfred Shikanga.

Beloved aunty to many nieces and nephews.

A comfort meeting will be held on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at The Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road, Nairobi.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 2nd September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at The Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road, Nairobi.

Elizabeth will be laid to rest on Saturday 5th September 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at her husband’s home in Lihrembe, Kakamega.
