It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dr. Joel Achiba Duda, which occurred on 28th August 2026 at Jocham Hospital, Mombasa.
The late was the beloved son of the late Mzee Duda Ndumari Mungatana and the late Lizi Kirage Duda.
Loving husband of the late Margaret Binns Achiba.
Devoted father of Wendy (USA), Buambali, Moses, Tola and Innocent.
Brother of Kubfegwa Mungatana (Late), Ruth Songoro, Milka Abednego (Late), Lawi Duda, Kirage Duda and Thomas Dudah.
Grandfather of Sean, Chantal and Fanaka (all USA), Margaret, Vera, Norman and Aaron.
Great-grandfather of Bassam.
Friends and family are meeting daily at his house in Bombolulu, Mombasa for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Jocham Hospital Mortuary on Friday 11th September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service and burial on Saturday 12th September 2026 at his home in Ngao Village, Tana River County.
