We regret to announce the death of Mr Crispo Willis Ongoro, HSC, EBS,MBS which occurred on 2nd May 2026 while undergoing treatment at Haven Hospital Bondo.
He was a Retired Senior Deputy Commisioner of Police and Deputy Director, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
He was the son of the late Johanna Okundi and the late Mama Agnetta Okundi of Wagoro Village, Uyoma Kokwiri, Rarieda, Siaya County.
He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Jane Ongoro. Father of Florence, George, the late Paul, Sharon, Cathy and Tony Ongoro.
Father in Law of Simeon Odera, Nato Wanjala and Lilian Onyango.
Nyawand the late Nashon & Dorcas Ouma and Dr. Henry & Josephine Wanjala, the late Francis, the late Elizabeth Onyango and Anna Onyango.
His siblings are Margaret, David, Enock, the late Odhiambo and Dorine.
He was son in law of the late Jaduon’g Paul Otieno Ohomo and the late Monica Oor Otieno, the late Ruth Juma and Mama Alice Aoko Musewe of Ndere Ralak, North East Ugenya, Siaya County.
Brother in Law of Alberto, Mike, the late Mariam, Hugo, Albert, Dado, the late Lima, Queen, Jaramba, the late Lilian, Sarah, Charles, Chris, Ken, Zack, Christine, Peter, Oloo and Milka.
Grandchildren – Alma, Aida, Dana, Des, Mona, Davina, Duke, Collins, Willis, Jamie and Michelle.
There shall be a Harambee to defray funeral expenses on Friday 8 th May 2026 at the All Saints Cathedral Church, Nairobi from 5.30pm.
Burial will take place on Saturday 16th May 2026 at his Home in Wagoro Village, Uyoma Kokwiri.
